In a world where data powers innovation, certifications play a critical role in ensuring consistent quality, security, and compliance. For mission critical workloads, confidence in the underlying infrastructure is essential. For AI and machine learning workloads, certifications ensure that the data center environment can meet the demands of high-performance computing reliably and securely.
Verne has recently unified certification frameworks across all our campuses in Iceland, London, and Finland. This standardisation effort brings each facility in each country into alignment with internationally recognised certifications, including ISO 27001 for information security management systems, ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety systems), ISO 9001 (quality management systems), ISO 14001 (environmental management systems), and PCI DSS (card payment security).
When Verne acquired the London and Finland campuses in 2022, each site had its own legacy certification processes. Aligning these to a common framework company-wide required a detailed assessment of operational procedures, documentation, and compliance practices across regions. The result is a consistent set of standards and policies across all Verne sites, reducing complexity for technical teams and customers operating across multiple locations.
At Verne we are always looking at ways to continuously improve to meet the fast-growing need for high-density data center services. For our customers, this alignment provides greater peace of mind in the infrastructure supporting their operations. A unified certification framework ensures best practices in energy efficiency, redundancy, environmental performance, and security are consistently applied. This is particularly critical for workloads that have stringent uptime and compliance requirements or need strict data integrity procedures.
For Verne, this lays the groundwork for continued growth in the Nordic region. As new campuses are developed or integrated, having standardised certifications in place enables faster deployment, streamlined operations, and consistent service delivery. In practice, this allows us to scale high-performance infrastructure to new locations with fewer operational hurdles — helping our customers stay ahead of rising compute demands and focus on innovation in a fast-moving digital world.
