Wayne Louw

Wayne joined Verne as Chief Operating Officer in 2026. He is responsible for operational strategy, performance and resilience across Verne’s multi-site data centre platform.Before joining Verne, Wayne led large-scale, mission-critical operations across Europe and Africa at NTT Global Data Centers. He brings extensive experience operating complex, power-intensive environments at scale, supporting hyperscale customers and managing distributed teams across multiple markets. Wayne has an electrical engineering background and began his career in the banking sector, where he witnessed the transition from enterprise-owned data centres to commercial colocation and hyperscale models.
