David joined Verne Global in 2025 as Head of Compliance and Security, bringing more than two decades of international experience across government, military, policing, security, and GRC. His career has centred on building resilient organisations, navigating complex regulatory environments, and leading security programmes in high‑risk sectors. David joins to strengthen Verne’s compliance framework and security posture across all campuses. A Fellow of the UK Security Institute and a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, David combines strategic leadership with deep technical capability. He has extensive experience working with ISO standards, is formally trained in both physical and information security, and holds certifications in risk and crisis management, negotiation, and leadership development.
